Kurt's dancing competition

Of course the first thing I'd post on a football blog today is a Dancing With the Stars update. It's this kind of focus that keeps me, um...

So here are Kurt Warner's competitors for the upcoming Dancing season, in which he's under pressure to uphold the front-runner status most of the past NFL participants have held:

Michael Bolton, Margaret Cho (UGH), Bristol Palin, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, David Hasselhoff, Audrina Patridge, Florence Henderson, Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey, Rick Fox and Brandy (Norwood).

Thoughts:
- Since their biggest career accomplishment to date is getting pregnant, I'd expect Bristol Palin to have similar "success" to Kate Gosselin. She'll be annoying, suck at dancing and last three weeks longer than she should because of sympathy votes.
- I won't complain about "The Situation"'s extra 15 minutes of fame, because it could have been worse. They could have picked "Snooki". Seriously, is that girl supposed to be sexy? She's 4'6" and orange! She's an Oompa-Loompa!
- Is it awesome, or creepy, that there are two contestants that have slept with Greg Brady? Who do you think he's rooting for?
- NOBODY PUTS BABY IN A CORNER!
- Shouldn't Brandy pretty much clean up on this group? Hasn't she danced (and sung) for a living since she was about 15? Wouldn't she seem to have a pretty big competitive advantage?

The NFL experience is one thing, but Kurt looks like a middle-of-the-pack runner in this group. His immobility as a QB certainly makes you wonder if this is the right forum for his talents. Heck, he didn't even use to Bob-n-Weave! Maybe Jimmy Johnson should have gone on this show and Kurt should have gone to Survivor:Nicaragua. Good luck anyway.
