(from local media reports)

Today's schedule: two practices, 8:15-10:30 a.m. and 6:15-8:00 p.m. Forecasted high temperature in St. Louis today is 100, with a heat index of at least 110.

The injury list continues to grow, with DT Chris Hovan joining last night with a lower back injury and CB Marquis Johnson experiencing a hamstring problem. They join: Mark Lewis (ankle, out), C.J. Ah You (hamstring), Darell Scott (hamstring, out), Darien Stewart (shoulder, out), Jason Smith (toe, limited), Roger Allen (knee, limited). With Scott and Hovan down and Cliff Ryan having problems with cramps yesterday, the Rams are already quickly running out of defensive tackles. I dropped Oshiomogho Atogwe from the list because he, like Steven Jackson, is getting at least limited reps. Smith and Allen are only doing individual work, so I'll keep them on.

Camp visits yesterday: Danario Alexander (pictured) and Dick Vermeil. Alexander, who claims he ran a 4.4 40 at a workout in Houston recently, passed the team physical but didn't work out. He visits the Seahawks today.

Updated: Chris Hovan returned to practice this morning. Marquis Johnson is out due to fluid behind his knee.
