Rams report, 1/5

* Fishing for Fisher. Jeff Fisher will interview today in Denver for a head coaching job. Wow, I had no idea the Broncos were unhappy with John Fox. He got them to the playoffs his first season! What will this mean for Tim Tebow?......

Oh. Stan Kroenke will interview Fisher for the Rams' job today. In Denver. Always glad to see the owner's pride in the home town. Well, he can't be bothered to come to home games, can't be bothered to be here in person to fire the old coaching staff, what did I expect?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jim Thomas tweeted Thursday night that the interview was held in Denver to avoid a potential "media circus" in St. Louis. A media circus? St. Louis? Three guys with tape recorders would be a media circus?

* GM search. According to ESPN, the Rams have asked Indianapolis for permission to interview director of player personnel Tom Telesco. And PFW reports they have received permission from the Eagles to interview DPP Ryan Grigson. The Bears are interested in Telesco and two other names on the Rams' list, Ravens DPP Eric DeCosta and Falcons DPP Les Snead. DeCosta is considered the favorite to get the job in Chicago. And to make this a nice, tidy circle, the Colts are interested in Snead and Grigson.

Chris Mortensen now says we can add Cardinals DPP Steve Keim to the Rams' list. Good grief, this GM search is becoming a real cattle call. I'm getting a little insulted I haven't been invited to interview for the job yet.
