NFL.com: Fisher will pick Rams - McDaniels outta here

Jason LaCanfora reports on the NFL.com main page right now that the Rams are still considered the favorite around the league to get Jeff Fisher as their next head coach. Not only that, but he has Saints DC Gregg Williams following Fisher here to be DC. Fisher and Williams have unspecified "deep ties", Williams is a Missouri native, and Williams' contract is up after this season. I actually have Williams pretty high on my imaginary list of head coaching candidates, so that would be a coup.

Then again, that's what we all thought about Josh McDaniels' hiring before this season. He is now officially gone to New England, and to a place in infamy as the offensive coordinator on RamView's All-Worst team, assuming I ever update the website again.

McDaniels has actually started with the Patriots immediately as an assistant, which means the Steelers and Broncos better keep their eyes peeled for illegal cameras in the stands tomorrow night.

In addition, the Eagles fired their secondary coach today, which may open up the opportunity Steve Spagnuolo's been rumored for.
