The Steelers shut the Rams out Christmas Eve, and they were shut out of the Pro Bowl today. Not shockingly, there are no Rams on the NFC's Pro Bowl roster. Steven Jackson and Chris Long at least deserve recognition as alternates, but I've seen no word the Rams even got any of those. Marshawn Lynch appears poised to claim the starting spot won by Matt Forte.
The closest the Rams will come to being represented in Hawaii this season is by whichever cheerleader they pick from each team every year, or by Jackie Slater's son Matthew, who's the AFC's special teams player. How did the Rams not know about Matthew, btw?
Also, I understand Patrick Peterson will go to the Pro Bowl his rookie year as the NFC's punt returner. You know how running backs sometimes invite their offensive linemen to come to Hawaii for helping them get to the Pro Bowl? I wonder if Peterson will invite Steve Spagnuolo and a Rams special teamer or two.
