Rams report, 12/30: Votes of confidence

* Interviewed on 101.1 ESPN today, Sam Bradford said he has faith in Rams offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and far prefers running his offense to running the West Coast offense. So apparently Sam hates success? Another vote for McDaniels came, unsurprisingly, from wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, who has basically told the Post-Dispatch that he's going wherever McDaniels ends up next season.

This'll add significant fuel to the fire for keeping Steve Spagnuolo, and McDaniels, in place for another season. That fire's being stoked the most, of course, by P-D writer Brian Burwell, who loves Spagnuolo so much he wanted Jim Haslett to keep the head coaching job after '08. Burwell shows every hallmark of a guy who's making sure to suck up to the coaches on their way out to curry favor from the new coaches coming in.

* The Rams have bought up the unsold tickets for Sunday's season finale against the 49ers in order to force the game on an unwilling St. Louis TV audience. You're stuck now!

* Rams Friday injury report:
Out: Justin King (shoulder, team too lazy to find a replacement player)
Doubtful: Sam Bradford (ankle), A.J. Feeley (thumb)
Questionable: Chris Long (ankle). As usual, has been limited all week.
Probable: Josh Gordy (oblique), Jerious Norwood (sick), Brady Poppinga (sick). Looks like that flu bug has spread to the offense. Both sick players were full practice participants, though.

Delanie Walker is out for San Francisco, with Patrick Willis, Carlos Rogers, Ted Ginn and Kyle Williams all questionable.

* It wasn't f#cking holding: in what I'll read as a tacit admission the officiating sucked ass that week, Harvey Dahl was not fined or reprimanded by the league for dropping the F-bomb over Jerome Boger's field mike back on the 18th.
