Rams report, 12/28: Pro Bowl honorable mentions

Not so shut out: Steven Jackson, Chris Long and James Laurinaitis are all "alternates" for the Pro Bowl this year after all. Today's STLtoday article did not specify if they are first alternates, second alternates, 95th alternates, or otherwise, so we still really have no idea if any Ram will get into the game yet. I have no idea why the NFL and the press feel such a need to keep the alternate selections secretive, vague and poorly reported, but they do.

Injuries:
Still out: Sam Bradford, A.J. Feeley. Though Bradford is trying to get into practice this week and in the game against the 49ers Sunday, his ankle is showing no progress.

Brady Poppinga was out sick. Probably caught it from Fred Robbins, who was limited due to sickness.

Chris Long and Josh Gordy were also limited due to longstanding injuries.

Justin King is out for Sunday due to a shoulder injury, and should be IR'ed, but hasn't been yet. It's a sign nobody at Rams Park cares any more that King will probably just be made a gameday inactive Sunday.

Today's big ex-Ram news:
Hall Davis had a tryout yesterday with the Raiders.
