Pettis suspended for 4 games

Austin Pettis has been found in violation of the NFL rules against performance-enhancing substances and has been suspended for the next 4 games. That's the last 2 games this year and the first 2 regular season games next year. I believe he will be allowed to participate fully in preseason games (whoever's training camp he'll be in. If any).

Seriously, Pettis' 2011 performance has been enhanced? Now it looks like the Rams really wouldn't have missed him if they had cut him in training camp.

One piece of advice for Pettis: get in touch with David Vobora's lawyer. He ended up making money out of getting suspended.

I imagine that makes one Nick Miller the Rams' new slot receiver. You could go three-wide with Brandon Lloyd, Danario Alexander and Brandon Gibson... or just go one-wide with Lloyd, those are about the same thing.

What a miserable, fucked-up pile of a season.
