Titanic struggle

The Rams won ugly, as they say, last night over the Titans, 17-16. RamView recap of the game is up now. Link

Highlights:
* Bradford starts game with 83-yard TD bomb to Gibson.
* Josh Brown ends game with 42-yard winning FG.

Lowlights:
* Everything in between. The Rams showed glaring problems in run defense and pass protection they'd better clean up quickly. They also didn't run the ball worth a damn.


Injuries:
* Rodger Saffold came out earlier than scheduled due to an ongoing back injury. He played like a man with a hurt back, I'll say that.
* Randall Hunt hurt an ankle but returned to the game quickly.
* Fendi Onobun dislocated a finger.
* Chris Long has a turf toe type injury that isn't thought to be any more serious than his run defense was last night.
* Sitting out: Jacob Bell (knee), Jermelle Cudjo (back), Mikail Baker (hamstring of death), Marquis Johnson (knee), Jerome Murphy (ankle).

Transactions:
* Another new rookie free agent: U. of Washington tackle Cody Habben joins the roster to take the spot Roy Watts vacated. He was previously in camp with the Raiders.

That should bring the Rams roster count to 89. The website lists 86, but it leaves off Habben, Ben Giudugli and Jeremy McGee, and still lists Eddie Wide instead of Chase Reynolds.
