Ex-Rams update

I've slacked off this summer keeping up-to-date on how former Rams players are faring with other teams around the league. So now for one mega-ex-Rams update (from the ESPN.com transactions wire):

Yesterday
WR Ruvell Martin joined the Bills. <bitter> One less devastating deep threat to worry about when the Rams play Seattle.</still bitter>

August 22
OLB David Vobora signed with Seattle.

August 21
Still kicking around the league - OT Mark LeVoir signed by Baltimore, a couple of days after being cut by New England.

August 19
The Saints apparently have an ex-Rams quota. They signed CB Quincy Butler to replace Alex Barron, who went on injured reserve. Something's wrong with the meniscus in his left knee. Never read anywhere that it was torn, but he's IR'ed anyway. And so for the first season of his pro career, Alex Barron will complete a year without a false start.

August 17
Steelers signed CB Kevin Dockery.

August 16
WR Brooks Foster cut by the Dolphins.

August 15
Cleveland claimed DB Brett Johnson, who had been cut by Seattle. He had a cup of coffee here in training camp last year. Louis Leonard (knee) was waived injured by the Broncos. Another former Rams training camper.

August 10
K Todd Carter, briefly here this summer as a camp leg, signed with Kansas City. Will he exact revenge on the Rams tomorrow night?????

August 8
Carolina claimed G Bryant Browning, a rookie free agent cut by the Rams.

August 6
He's still in the league? C Donovan Raiola signed with the Redskins.

August 4
P Reggie Hodges done for the season in Cleveland - torn Achilles tendon.
Bobby Carpenter signed by the Lions.

Huh, thought there'd be more - I think that catches me up. If I get an opportunity this weekend, I'll do a scan of current rosters around the league for a full ex-Rams rundown.
