Rams report, 8/24

It'll be a wrap for training camp after today's final practice, which is in a couple of hours.

* Injury news: good news for Danario Alexander. His diagnosis was fluid buildup on the knee, and he returned to practice yesterday. Draining the knee again would have kept him out a couple of critical weeks. After practice, Alexander said his knee felt "pretty good".

Also returning to practice yesterday: Mardy Gilyard.
Assumed returns: Jacob Bell, Na'il Diggs, Randall Hunt, Fendi Onobun. There's been no update on these players for several days.

Sitting out: Mikail Baker, reportedly with a knee problem now; Jermelle Cudjo, back; Dionte Dinkins, knee; Daniel Muir, ankle; Fred Robbins, back.

Oh, and since the day today ends in "y", that must mean Michael Hoomanawanui is injured. He came down with a calf strain that Steve Spagnuolo says will keep him out "a couple" of weeks. I have seen "several weeks" in other reports. Sigh, the man is making Eric Crouch look like Brett Favre.

Transactions: Seattle signed former Ram LB David Vobora. I'll do a full post on the many ex-Rams floating around the league before too long.

Bill Coates reports that Darian Stewart is getting reps with the first string.

More whenever I hear it.
