The Rams practice this afternoon at 2:15. This week's practice schedule has been changed. Open practices are now Tuesday at 1:15, Wednesday at 4:3o and Thursday at 11:15, with no open practice on Friday.
Injuries:
The Rams came out of the first preseason game unscathed except for one notable injury that promises to muddle the competition at wide receiver even further. Mike Sims-Walker has a groin injury that's expected to keep him out of practice all week and out of Saturday night's game against Tennessee. Quintin Mikell banged up his elbow in the Colts game but won't miss any action.
Returning this week: Ron Bartell, James Hall, James Laurinaitis, Greg Salas, Eugene Sims. Mardy Gilyard and Al Harris were thought out for the game Saturday but both played, Gilyard extensively.
Status unknown: Mikail Baker (hamstring), Jermelle Cudjo (back), Fendi Onobun (groin). Not sure if any of the three played against the Colts.
Definitely out: Marquis Johnson, Jerome Murphy
* Transactions: The Rams added WEST TEXAS A&M cornerback and 2011 CACTUS BOWL participant Tae Evans to the roster over the weekend. There was no need for a corresponding roster move or salary cap move. The Rams appear to have 88 on the roster right now. Hard to tell when the online roster isn't up-to-date. They still show Jared Jenkins on the roster but don't have Evans or Jeremy McGee listed.
