Rams infirmary report, 9/12

Conditions have changed up a lot since the end of yesterday's game...

Ron Bartell is now the player whose season is most likely to be over. The prognosis now is that he has two broken bones in his neck.

Last night, all the talk was that Danny Amendola's season was over. Today, they're talking about him returning to the lineup after the bye week next month.

Sam Bradford's finger is bruised. No broken bone or nerve damage. We'll assume he's up for the Giants game Monday night.

Steven Jackson looks to be almost certainly out of the Giants game due to his strained quad, but could return the next week.

Jason Smith's ankle sprain is nowhere near as bad as originally reported. He's day-to-day and could go Monday night, and get smoked by Justin Tuck 1,000,006 times.

Bradley Fletcher sprained a toe and is day-to-day.

C.J. Ah You has an unspecified wrist injury that requires a brace. He sounds doubtful for Monday night. Heaven forbid, the coaches are going to have to put in that stinky Robert Quinn guy none of them apparently like (first-round pick was inactive yesterday. Really?)

Oh, go and put your money down on the Rams right now: Michael Hoomanawanui is returning to the lineup. Over/under for his next injury: halftime Monday night.

Prayers go out to Bartell; there's nothing fun about neck injuries.
