Dream team turns Rams into nightmare team

Well, what a freaking disaster that was. Expected to at least keep the game close by most, expected to score 40 by Marshall Faulk on NFL Network, the Rams instead get completely outclassed and banged up by the Eagles, 31-13. RamView autopsy of the game: Link

Lowlights:
* Sam Bradford taken out of game in 4th quarter due to a finger injury that kept him from gripping the ball.
* Steven Jackson taken out of game after two carries. Pulled a quad muscle on his first carry, a 47-yard TD.

No immediate news on those two.

* Danny Amendola suffers gruesome elbow dislocation in 3rd quarter. Out at least 8 weeks, could be the whole season.
* Ron Bartell's play. As well, a repeat of his shoulder stinger problems from last year. Came out of game in 4th.
* Jason Smith's play. $33 million for a RT who can't block or stay healthy. Definitely out for the near term after a high-ankle sprain yesterday.
* Receivers dropped about a million passes, with Lance Kendricks turning into Rick Ankiel.
* Poor pass protection, poor receiver play, poor coaching, poor run defense, poor containment of Michael Vick.

Highlights:
* Good run blocking, and Cadillac Williams had a nice game.

Other than that, how did you enjoy the play, Mrs. Lincoln?
