...for their remaining fifth-rounder this year. espn.com
If you're wondering why KC would give up one of the most dynamic returners of recent years for a second-day pick, maybe it's because he's not so dynamic any more. He's averaged 6.6 and 8.9 a return the last two seasons and turns 29 in September. Shaun McDonald averaged 7.5 last year running sideways like an idiot on every return. Hall also averaged half a yard less than Willie Ponder last year on kickoff returns. Dante's a big improvement since he's an actual breakaway threat, but he's no Devin Hester, or even Az Hakim, at this stage of his career. Ted Ginn would have been a better long-term solution, honestly.
But Ginn is positively not coming to St. Louis now, and I have to go blow up my mock draft...
