RamView, 8/13: Change those future vacation plans

Photo: London Telegraph
* The Rams announced today that they are withdrawing from their commitment to play regular-season games in London in 2013 and 2014. They are, of course, playing a home game against the Patriots in London this season, which was the first year of originally a three-year series. Kevin Demoff says it's to reassure fans that "the lease situation is getting the organization's undivided attention," and to clarify fans' doubts about where their vision is.

This is the most concrete public statement the Rams have made to say they're even going to try to stay in St. Louis, so it's a welcome development.

* The Rams obviously have a lot of practicing to do, and get back to it Tuesday at 3:30. About the only good news out of Sunday's 38-3 debacle in Indianapolis is that there weren't any new injuries.

- Rodger Saffold and Josh Gordy played Sunday, so they come off the list.
- Just my guess, but Darian Stewart should return to action Tuesday.
- Out Sunday, return uncertain: Danario Alexander, Bradley Fletcher, Brandon Gibson, Trevor Laws and Scott Wells.
