Add Raheem Morris to the Rams' head coach shopping list. The Rams have received permission to interview the current Bucs DC from Tampa Bay. Morris was tabbed as Monte Kiffin's replacement after Kiffin's announcement late this season that he was moving on to coach with his son Lane at the University of Tennessee.
I understand the desire to interview Morris a lot more than I do with Ray Sherman or Todd Bowles. Tampa had the top-ranked pass defense twice and has never ranked worse than 6th with Morris as their secondary coach.
The Rams are a step late getting into the game here - Denver has already interviewed Morris - but it's a smart move by Billy Devaney to get Morris into the picture.
