* NFL executive vice president Eric Grubman was in St. Louis this week to meet with the stadium planners, made the rounds with the local media and basically said St. Louis has to build a new stadium, and get plans off the ground in 2015, to have any chance of keeping the Rams. STLToday interview
* Post-Dispatch assistant sports editor Michael Reilly, meanwhile, gets it exactly right about the Dome.
* And, as usual, no word from S.E. Kroenke. Within a couple of weeks here, the Rams will have to declare whether or not they intend to lease the Dome for the 2015 season. At least until then, I'll try to maintain normal activity on the blog. There are two college all-star games tomorrow, the conference championships Sunday and Senior Bowl practices starting Tuesday, so my aim for now is to keep busy.
