OC search update

Well, maybe Jeff Fisher doesn't hate me so much after all. As tweeted by Jim Thomas today, the first candidate for Rams offensive coordinator is the top candidate on my list, 49ers OC Greg Roman. (#2, Dirk Koetter, has signed with Tampa Bay.)

Update: news is out today (1/10) that Kyle Shanahan will also be interviewed for the job. Fisher is reportedly great friend with Mike Shanahan; that friendship was supposedly part of the reason he did that coin flip stunt before the Redskins game. Kyle was Cleveland's OC last season.

I don't expect WRs coach Ray Sherman to get the job - the in-house favorite for promotion appears to be TEs coach Rob Boras - but I imagine he could also get an interview. A, he's qualified for the job, and B, it would allow the Rams to comply with the Rooney Rule.
