Concrete. Ring. Of. Death!

CBS Sports
Just when the Edward Jones Dome was finally starting to get some personality, it may soon be without a team. You'll recall the introduction of Flaming Turf prior to the Steelers game; I still can't believe they made the stadium crew put the fire out. That's called home field advantage! Now it turns out the San Francisco game has handed out a marketing opportunity we may never get to cash in on.

The Dome, you see, has a Concrete Ring Of Death! How awesome is that!

Ok, it wasn't awesome for Reggie Bush, who slipped and blew his ACL when the 49ers were here in November, and is now suing the St. Louis CVC for his injury. The lawsuit, in bullet point no. 7, claims "many" call the area where Bush slipped "the concrete ring of death". Well, we sure do now!

Cleveland has the Dog Pound; pfft. Oakland has/had the Black Hole. Not bad. But a freaking Concrete Ring Of Death? Winning! The NFL HAS to keep a team here now.

I don't know anything about suing people or getting sued. The lawsuit at this point asks for a minimum of $25,000 in damages but seems certain to ask for much more. If Bush takes the stand at some point, my main question would be what he was doing so far out of bounds. Then the CVC can play footage showing 95-99% of punt returners in the Dome not going out of bounds all the way out to the doggone stands.
