Rams vs. the rest of the league

Updating where the Rams stand in their series against the rest of the league heading into the 2010 season:

NFC South:
Saints - one-game losing streak, 28-23 here 11/19/09. Last win: 37-29 shocker there, 11/11/07.
Falcons - one-game losing streak, 31-27 on 12/28/08 in Atlanta. Last win: 28-16 here, 12/7/07.
Panthers - four straight losses, including the 2003 divisional playoff here. The Rams haven't beaten the Panthers since 2001, a 48-14 victory here on 11/1.
Buccaneers - one-game losing streak, 24-3 there on 9/23/07. Last win was 28-21 here on 10/18/04. The Bucs are 4-1 against the Rams since the 2000 NFC Championship game.

The Rams play all four NFC South teams in 2010.

NFC East:
Redskins - one-game losing streak, 9-7 there 9/20/09, a game the Rams probably should have won. Last win: 19-17 there, 10/12/08.
Cowboys - one of four teams the Rams have a winning streak against. One game, 34-14 at home 10/19/08. Dallas' last win was 35-7 there on 9/30/07.
Eggles - two-game losing streak. Rams haven't beaten Philly since 12/27/04, a 20-7 victory in which the already-playoff-clinched Eggles rested most of their starters.
Giants - Rams haven't beaten the G-men since 2001. Since beating them 15-14 at home 10/14/01, they've lost four straight.

Good news: the Redskins are the Rams' only NFC East opponent in 2010.

NFC North:
Lions - The Rams have a TWO GAME WINNING STREAK against Detroit. Their last loss to the Lions: 30-20 there 12/28/03.
Vikings - The Rams have just a one-game losing streak to Minnesota, last season's 38-10 loss on Oct. 11. They last beat the Vikings 41-21 there on New Year's Eve 2006.
Packers - two-game losing streak. Last Rams win: 23-20 there, 10/8/06.
Bears - The Rams, oddly, haven't beaten the Bears since 2003, a three-game streak. Last win was 23-12 there, 11/16/03.

The Lions are the Rams' only NFC North opponent this year.

The Panthers and Bucs have really had the Rams' number for a decade; it sure would be nice to break one of those streaks.

It would be even nicer to beat the f@cking Kansas City Chiefs. As Jim Thomas would put it, the "St. Louis" Rams have yet to beat their fellow Missouri franchise. Sadly, Governor's Cups do not count. JOE MONTANA was the last Chiefs QB the Rams beat.

AFC West
Kansas City: four straight losses, going back to 16-0 win at Arrowhead, September 18, 1994.
San Diego: one-game losing streak. Last win was here, 11/10/02, 28-24.
Oakland: TWO-GAME WINNING STREAK!!! Rams haven't lost to the Raiders since 1997, a 35-17 loss on 9/28.
Denver: one-game winning streak! Rams won 18-10 here, 9/1/06, in Scott Linehan's first game as head coach. Denver's last win was 23-16 there, 9/8/02.

The Rams play all four AFC West teams this year. Can we please beat freaking Kansas City ONE TIME?!?!?!

AFC East
Patriots - three straight losses, including Super Bowl XXXVI. Last win: 24-17 there, 11/18/01.
Jets - one-game losing streak. Last win: 32-29 here in OT, 1/2/05.
Dolphins - two-game losing streak. Last win: 42-10 here, 9/30/01.
Bills - two straight losses. Last win: 34-33 there, 9/20/1998.

AFC North
Ravens - one-game losing streak, last win was 33-22 here, 11/9/03.
Steelers - one-game losing streak, last win was 33-21 there, 10/26/03.
Bengals - one-game losing streak, last win was 27-10 here, 12/21/03.
Browns - one-game losing streak, last win was 26-20 there, 12/8/03 (Monday night).

AFC South
Colts - two straight losses. Last win: 42-17 here, 12/30/01.
Texans - one-game losing streak. Last win: 33-27 OT win there, 11/27/05.
Titans - one-game losing streak. Last win: 31-27 here, 9/25/05.
Jagwires - one-game losing streak. Last Rams win: 17-14 here, 10/20/1996. The Jagwires and Texans both beat the Rams for the first time last year.

I will happily take a 3-13 season in 2010 if those wins are over the Seahawks, Big Dead and Chiefs.
