I'm calling for best defensive player available here. This round's curious run, on receivers, is sliding some good defensive players down again.
It's a deep field at DT, unless I missed someone getting picked: Brandon Mebane, Howard Balzer's man Paul Soliai, Ryan McBean.
Still a couple of very solid DBs left: Tanard Jackson, Daymeion Hughes. Rams may want more speed, though, which is probably why these two are falling.
DE looks really picked over, even more so with Charles Johnson just getting picked. Don't know if Ray McDonald is worth a flyer or not.
Since it's the Rams' third-round pick, they'll either make a really weird pick or take a significant character risk, right? This pick's got Marcus Thomas written all over it.
Go Cal Bears! I'd take Mebane or Hughes. At the least, one of the DTs.
